Yes the home had damages not fixed ,but i pushed for an early move in . Since i have been there they continue to fix any problems past or present like agree when i asked to move in before the time they said it would be completely ready. The office is good about trying to keep up with things , just make sure to contact the office if someone the hire doesn't do something . They won't know and assume its done already ,if you let them know it hasn't been they get on it ASAP.. I have dealt with them before and they are always very helpful and honest and this has been one of the better rental experiences i have had in the boro..I have horror stories from some of these companies but im very pleased with wise choice and its staff .

Long but please read. You want to make a Wise Choice? Run from this company like they have the plague and are actively chasing you down to murder you. I moved into a 3 bedroom house a while back (have since moved away) and all was fine until they decided to move a family of 4 into a tiny attic space above the house. Nothing was mentioned in the lease about this unit being a multi family domicile. In the months that followed it was pure hell as the upstairs was always loud causing a lot of long nights with no sleep. I had to save up enough to move once more, and when I did I broke the lease. I wrote them a letter on a piece of paper telling them that they were blatantly wrong and if they wanted to pursue the lost rent I would sue. I left so fast, I didn't even care about the security deposit. The staff were ATROCIOUS to deal with and I was completely ignored when trying to sort out these issues.
Stay away if you value your time, money, and piece of mind.
All of the staff here have been extremely helpful and friendly for the past going on 4 years now that I have been renting from them. Their prices are reasonable for the area, and they have been consistently spot on with getting exterminators and repairmen to our house. The only overall complaint is more about statesboro as a whole rather than this individual company- every house I see needs a severe pressure washing.

And per the same law there is a statute called Repair & Deduct - Georgia courts have held that when a landlord fails to respond to repair requests after a reasonable time, the tenant can have the required repair performed by a competent repair person at a reasonable cost and deduct the cost from future rent. ....note to Wise Choice....fix the AC!
My daughter has been renting from them for a little over a year now. They aren't overly concerned with repairs but they do get to them...sometimes it takes a few calls to get them to actually respond. My biggest concern at the moment is a comment that was made about the AC not working at its best and that the owner did not want to make the repairs in order to improve the performance of the AC. Currently the thermostadt is set at 73 and the temp in the house is 80. Well news flash...per the GA Tenant Law the AC (as long as it is part of the house) must be fixed.
