I was very pleased with my stay here, the rooms were very clean and neat, the sheets were also spotless. The employees were also very friendly and welcoming. I would highly recommend staying here.

We stopped for a night on our way to North Carolina. Stayed on third floor on the south side of building. The room was newly renovated and clean. The furniture was worn, but the linens were fresh and clean. My main problem was the road noise. Bypass US-301 is a very busy highway even late at night. There is a traffic light at the southeast corner of the property it sounds like drag racing outside your window. We were awakened several times throughout the night because no one in this town owns a muffler. If you stay here request a room on the north side of the building. That may be better. For breakfast the sausage and eggs were not edible. Maybe I should have gone for the waffles. Room rate was reasonable, but state and local taxes are high.
Very well run hotel. The staff and management are eager to help you out and the overall quality of both the rooms and service is incredible for the price. Great value. I definitely recommend staying here if you are ever in town.
