This is a very old house and sure there are things that need repairs however, embrass the true old southern charm of it being a "historical" site.
Staff were so nice and always around to make sure everyone had plenty of drinks and food.
Had our wedding on June 3 and the venue and service was excellent! The event room was set up just perfect for our wedding guest. Very helpful to accommodate my wishes and how I wanted the tables and buffet for my guest.
I stayed here while visiting campus. I am a grad student at GSU. I rented the cottage-the carpet was flithy! I laid towels down on the floor to walk bare footed to get in the shower. There was trash in the trash cans from the previous guest and the heat didn't work. I FROZE that night. Definitely NOT worth the money. I am coming back again in May I WILL NOT stay here again and I DO NOT RECOMMEND this place at all!
Staying at this Inn was like looking at a beautiful painting in a horrible frame. There is so much potential here, it truly hurt my heart to see the shape it’s in. There were dead roaches on the floor, we could not get our toilet to flush, the handle on the hot water for the bathtub just spun around, and the breakfast was mediocre at best. My understanding is this place is being cared for by only a few people, but if the community or someone rallied around it and restored it to its original beauty, it would be a magnificent place to stay. The owner is doing the best he can, I’m sure, but the highlight of the trip was the wonderful lady who served us our breakfast. She was delightful, very upbeat and very sweet. Housekeeping made our beds simply by throwing the quilt over the top. It was truly not up to even motel standards. I will not stay there again unless someone else is managing it, or the gentleman gets some help and they renovate and give this place and their patrons the respect they deserve.
We also stayed in the cottage house next door and just loved it.
I hosted a bridal shower this weekend at the Inn. The bridal shower was successful, beautiful and fun. Working with Jessica at the Inn was so easy! The staff was accommodating and worked to meet all our needs. The room was setup beautifully with gorgeous tablecloths and china plates that matched our color scheme. The table and chair setup was well suited for conversation but left a clear enough walkway that we could easily seat the elderly guests without worry they would fall.
The owner was very envolved during the complet event.

The catered brunch was delicious, all the guests enjoyed the food. Everything from booking to setup and payment was a breeze. I will certainly be using the Inn again for my entertaining needs in the Statesboro area. I wholeheartedly recommend them!
Very beautiful elegant b&b. The rooms are clean and spacious. The staff went above what should be expected to accommodate everyone in our group and made our stay a great experience. I highly reccomend the Statesboro Inn over any of the low quality hotels in the area
Food was great and very southern...just what we wanted.
Had a wonderful wedding, thanks to an amazing , kind staff!
