Living at University Pines really has been one of the best experiences. Now that the property is under new management, all of my service requests, questions, and concerns are taken care of quickly and efficiently. I especially enjoy laying by the pool with friends. The new tv that is outside is absolutely perfect for watching Braves games. Anyone who is looking for a fun apartment with management that really cares about their residents, choose The Pines.
Great safe environment. Students have a lot of convenience.
Not bad for college dorms but small
I lived here over one summer and its really just okay. The housing and maintenence staff are great, but this complex feels a bit run down compared to other on campus housing. I have also lived at Southern Pines and Freedoms Landing and this was my least favorite. The upstairs bedroom (room B) in the two bedroom apartments is HUGE.
I feel like this place is better than the dorms on campus mainly because it's a lot bigger and everyone gets their own room but we had a horrible cockroach problem that only the winter time could fix. We would stay in the living room untill 10am on the week day killing cockroachs for fun. Would kill about 20 to 30 a night and university villas did nothing about it. We even tried to kick out one of our fat roomate who had decaying trash in his room and that didn't work. WiFi sucks, I think just resently they made it so you can't watch porn on resnet. That might be a deal breaker for someone so I'm just adding it in. And lastly their just ugly apartments the outside is dark blue and the inside has pipes everwhere. I had never felt so poor in my life.
