Nice room. It was hot. We know it is summer, but the air conditioning unit took time to cool us off. It was around 2 in the a.m.
I have been coming here for a little over 2 years and I love this place
Stayed here for a weekend away because it was close to a couple of good places. Customer service was polite and helpful. Although there were some issues. I booked a room online for a king sized bed. When I got here they told me they had booked me for double queen bed room and said it was all they had and that the offical website had inaccurate bookings. Not only that but I paid a bit more than the price I had booked online. It was only a couple of dollars more but if you are going to offer special deals online then I think you should honor them. The room is clean although the air conditioner at 60 doesn't cool the room, the microwave doesn't work properly, broken headboard. As for a place to stay at for a good price it's what you pay for but I was a bit underwhelmed with my experience.
Good things: nice staff, felt safe enough, bed comfortable. Bad things: dirty bathroom- no cover on the light, rusty fixtures, really surprisingly old and stained; also, "breakfast" was a stack of thawed eggos and cheap tiny muffins- that was all. Curtains inadequate so room flooded with outside light at night. Also, this has drive up rooms-so lots of car noise. I know this is a cheap hotel, but the closest hotel one block away is 100 percent better in all ways and only about 10$ more a night.
My son and I went to this place to get some rest and there were bed bugs everywhere. I told the clerk/manager and she lied and said they just bought those mattresses. She came in and saw the bed bugs crawling everywhere. She changed our room but I couldn't get any sleep. I've been trying to reach out to her but she has never returned my call. And it was too expensive for one night. Do yourself a favor and not visit this nasty place.
