Excellent no-frills place to stay in Statesboro. Friendly and honest innkeeper. Clean room. Small efficiency unit with minimal linens and dishes. You will need your own shampoo! They do have soap, but no other cleaning supplies. We did need Lysol to clear out the smoke smell cause we were nonsmokers, but we could also have asked for a non-smoking room, so that could have been our bad! But if you don't want to pay chain hotel prices for a clean place to stay, this is your spot. I'd definitely stay here again.
Even though thwt were remodeling,Clean room. it was booked for an emergency hurricane evacuation. Did not get price gouged or hidden fees. Would've liked a double bed but it was a good experience during a bad situation.
